Join Rowe Morrow from Resilient Blue Mountains and Jean Renouf, from Resilient Byron in a community discussion on ‘what does resilience mean for us’?  We will be discussing how to make sense of these unprecedented times, and look at practical ways to change the ways we live, and prepare, together, for what has effectively already started.

Rowe Morrow, The Blue Mountains Permaculture Institute

Born in Perth, Rowe was claimed early by the Earth; plants, animals, stones, weather. A recognised global leader in the Permaculture movement and an expert in community education, agricultural science and rural sociology.

Jean S. Renouf, Co-chair, Resilient Byron

Jean is a Lecturer at Southern Cross University, a firefighter with Fire and Rescue NSW and a dad of two young boys. He also spent years working in war zones and natural disasters, including Afghanistan, Iraq, North Korea, Congo, Haiti, Yemen etc. All of this informs his interest in climate change, community regeneration and resilience, and non-traditional security.
